Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By scheduling a pickup or using the services of Lucy's Wash & Fold ("we," "us," "our"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Services

Lucy's Wash & Fold provides laundry pickup, washing, folding, and delivery services in North Jersey. We reserve the right to refuse service to any order we deem inappropriate or outside our service area.

3. Scheduling & Cancellation

• Pickups must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance
• Cancellations must be made at least 4 hours before scheduled pickup
• Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a $10 fee
• We reserve the right to reschedule due to weather or unforeseen circumstances

4. Pricing & Payment

• Prices are charged per pound unless otherwise specified
• Minimum order is 15 lbs
• Final weight is determined by us using calibrated scales
• Payment is due upon delivery unless on a subscription plan
• Subscription fees are billed monthly on the same date

5. Care of Items

We take every precaution to care for your items. However:

• We are not responsible for damage to items with undisclosed care requirements
• Pre-existing damage will be noted upon pickup when possible
• Items left in pockets (cash, jewelry, electronics) are the customer's responsibility
• We strongly recommend removing valuables before placing items for pickup
• Maximum liability for lost or damaged items is $50 per item unless otherwise agreed

6. Special Instructions

You are responsible for providing accurate care instructions. We will follow instructions as provided but cannot be held liable for damage resulting from incorrect instructions provided by the customer.

7. Subscription Plans

• Subscriptions are billed monthly and auto-renew
• Cancellation requires 30 days written notice
• Unused pounds carry over for 60 days only
• We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with 30 days notice

8. Liability Limitation

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the total amount paid for the specific order in question.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
